Big Blue Thermal

Thermography is also known as thermal imaging or infrared imaging. This type of imaging picks up the infrared waves emitted from objects all around us not visible to the naked eye. Our thermal imagers pick up this infrared light and covert it to a temperature to give us a thermal image.

These thermal images pick up defect conditions called exceptions. These exceptions are reported back to businesses in a variety of industries to save time and money by rectifying these exceptions before they become a major and expensive problem.

Using a thermal imager and interpreting thermal patterns and apparent tempertures is a highly technical skill which requires a lot a training to grasp. This is why Thermographs must be qualified as per AS ISO 18434.1:2014 and Big Blue Thermal is no exception to that standard.
